## Summary
**Analysis type** allows you to enable and disable analysis results dashboards and reports, as well as other tools and settings so you can streamline your team's workflows in MindBridge.
Learn how to configure the MindBridge platform to create a standardized experience tailored to your firm's methodologies.
**Note:** Analysis type settings apply only to General ledger analyses. MindBridge's default libraries are read-only, but can be selected as a base when creating new libraries.

## Go to _Analysis type_ in the library
**Note:** Only _App Admins_ can view and manage these library settings. 1. Select **Admin** ( ) near the bottom of the MindBridge [sidebar](https://support.mindbridge.ai/hc/en-us/articles/360056334994) on the left side of the screen. You will go to the _User Management_ tab in the _Admin settings by default_. 2. Go to the **Libraries** tab. You will see a list of libraries available in your tenant. 3. Open the **Actions** menu in line with the library you want to see. 4. Select **View library**. You will go to the _Library details_ tab. 5. Select the **General ledger** tab. You will go to the _Analysis type_ section by default.

## Disable/Enable MindBridge features
Use the toggles to control which features are enabled. Select **Save** at the bottom-right corner of the page to apply your changes.
Select **Discard changes** to discard any unsaved changes.
Most MindBridge [dashboards](https://support.mindbridge.ai/hc/en-us/articles/1500005592141-Library-settings-Analysis-type#h_01FCTPSRTHN8FT0G0KQJ1VTJ8R), [reports](https://support.mindbridge.ai/hc/en-us/articles/1500005592141-Library-settings-Analysis-type#01G40QV30YM1Y6H5N7Y5N1HRYA), and [tools and settings](https://support.mindbridge.ai/hc/en-us/articles/1500005592141-Library-settings-Analysis-type#h_01FCTPT57XHX4V8TWY8Y0N7BD6) are enabled upon creation of a new library, but the following features are disabled by default:
1. **Expanded transactions detail export to Excel** ( [Tools and settings](https://support.mindbridge.ai/hc/en-us/articles/1500005592141-Library-settings-Analysis-type#h_01FCTPT57XHX4V8TWY8Y0N7BD6)): Exports to Excel from the Data Table or the Audit Plan are formatted to allow for results of procedures to be documented in-line directly within the spreadsheet.
2. **Required materiality** ( [Tools and settings](https://support.mindbridge.ai/hc/en-us/articles/1500005592141-Library-settings-Analysis-type#h_01FCTPT57XHX4V8TWY8Y0N7BD6)): Make [materiality](https://support.mindbridge.ai/hc/en-us/articles/1500006178422) a _required_ input and block the ability to perform [account scoping](https://support.mindbridge.ai/hc/en-us/articles/1500006178362) if it has not been set.
**Note:** Any analysis using the given library will immediately display updates made to the analysis type.
### Dashboards
Use the toggles to determine which dashboards should be **Enabled** (visible) or **Disabled** (not visible) in analysis results.

- _[Significant account report](https://support.mindbridge.ai/hc/en-us/articles/1500007717022-Significant-account-report)_ - Cannot be populated without scoping
- [_Planning analytics report_](https://support.mindbridge.ai/hc/en-us/articles/1500007720482-Planning-analytics-report) - Cannot be populated without scoping or annotations |
| [Prior period comparison](https://support.mindbridge.ai/hc/en-us/articles/4777893833623-Prior-period-comparison-dashboard-Overview-GL-) | Displays changes between the current and prior period to see new or changed business processes, seasonality, and more. | Enabled by default.
Disabling removes the _Prior period comparison_ tab from the analysis results
Requirements:
- At least **one prior period** of data must be imported into the analysis before this dashboard can be accessed, even when enabled |
| [Ratios](https://support.mindbridge.ai/hc/en-us/articles/360058192513-Ratios-dashboard-Overview-GL-) | Displays default and custom financial ratios over time. | Enabled by default.
Disabling:
- Removes the _Ratios_ tab from the analysis results

- Removes the _Ratios_ section from the _Significant account report_ |
| [Risk monitoring](https://support.mindbridge.ai/hc/en-us/articles/18958100021399) | Displays transactions and processes over time, allowing for ongoing assessment of significant changes. | Disabled by default. Can be enabled if the [periodic analysis](https://support.mindbridge.ai/hc/en-us/articles/19030466572823) time frame is enabled.
Enabling adds the _Risk monitoring_ tab to the analysis results
Requirements to enable:
- _Periodic time frame_ must be **enabled** in the [library tools and settings](https://support.mindbridge.ai/hc/en-us/articles/1500005592141-Library-settings-Analysis-type#h_01FCTPT57XHX4V8TWY8Y0N7BD6)
- _Risk score display_ must be set to **Percent (%)** in the [library details](https://support.mindbridge.ai/hc/en-us/articles/4685618640407) |
| [Risk overview](https://support.mindbridge.ai/hc/en-us/articles/360055739994-Risk-overview-dashboard-Overview-GL-) | Displays various transaction-level risk graphs. | Enabled by default.
Disabling:
- Removes the _Risk overview_ tab from the analysis results
- Blocks the _[Summary of Transactional Risk report](https://support.mindbridge.ai/hc/en-us/articles/360058334953-Summary-of-transactional-risk-report)_ from being populated |

#### **Data table view**
Use the menu to select whether you want the [data table](https://support.mindbridge.ai/hc/en-us/articles/360058192493-Data-table-dashboard-Overview-General-Ledger-) to display **entries** or **transactions** by default.
The _Data table_ dashboard cannot be disabled.
#### **Landing page**
Select the dashboard you want to see by **default** when navigating to analysis results.
**Note:** If the dashboard used as the landing page is _disabled_, MindBridge will automatically set the landing page to the _Data table_ dashboard.
### Reports
Use the toggles to determine which reports should be **Enabled** or **Disabled** in analysis results.
