_App Admins_ can make changes to library settings at any time, however, changes made to presentation settings and risk settings within the context of a specific analysis type (such as the _General ledger_ tab) _will not be reflected in existing engagements_ that use the given library, as these changes could cause issues for engagements that are in progress.

If you want to see these types of library settings changes reflected in an engagement, you must [create a new engagement](https://support.mindbridge.ai/hc/en-us/articles/360055739694).

### Which library settings changes appear in existing engagements?

#### _Library details_ tab

Most settings on the _Library details_ tab can be updated as needed, and will be reflected within all engagements that use the given library upon saving.

**Note:** The **Analysis types**, and **Account grouping**, fields cannot be updated after the library has been created.

#### _General ledger_ tab

All of the settings that appear within the _Analysis configuration_ section (i.e., dashboard permissions, available reports, and additional tools and settings) can be updated as needed, and will be reflected within all engagements that use the given library upon saving.

### Which library settings changes will not appear in existing engagements?

#### _General ledger_ tab

Changes made to the _Presentation settings_ (listed below) will not be reflected in existing engagements:

- Ratios
- Filters
- Segments
- Populations

Changes made to the _Risk settings_ (listed below) will not be reflected in existing engagements:

- Risk ranges
- Risk scores
- Custom control points
