## Summary

You can **run your analysis** as soon as the required files have been imported. If changes are made to the [analysis settings](https://support.mindbridge.ai/hc/en-us/articles/Analysis%20settings:%20Overview) or the [engagement settings](https://support.mindbridge.ai/hc/en-us/articles/360055740054) _after the analysis has been run_, impacted analyses may need to be re-run, or new settings may need to be applied.

## Configuration details

Before an analysis can be run, you must import all required files and complete required steps such as [verifying the accounts](https://support.mindbridge.ai/hc/en-us/articles/9553833993495).

## Go to the _Data_ page

1. Select the **logo** in the MindBridge [sidebar](https://support.mindbridge.ai/hc/en-us/articles/360056334994). You will go to the _Organizations_ page.

3. Select **View** in line with the desired engagement, or click anywhere in the engagement row. You will go to the _Data_ page for that particular engagement.

## Run an analysis

1. Once you have [imported the required data](https://support.mindbridge.ai/hc/en-us/sections/4408298361879-Import-files) into the correct analysis slot(s) on the _Data_ page, the option to run the analysis will become available.
2. Select **Run analysis**, located at the bottom of the analysis section. You will be taken to a progress page and MindBridge will run the data through Ensemble AI analytics.

Once the analysis has completed, the run will be recorded on the _Data_ page, in the given analysis' [Run history](https://support.mindbridge.ai/hc/en-us/articles/19404752031511) section.
3. Select **View Analysis** to go to the results dashboards, or select the given analysis from within the **Analyze** menu ( ) in the MindBridge [sidebar](https://support.mindbridge.ai/hc/en-us/articles/360056334994)

**Note:** The volume and complexity of the imported data will affect how long it takes MindBridge to run the analysis. While the analysis is running you can continue to work within MindBridge. Once the analysis has completed, you will be notified.

## Re-run an analysis

If, after an analysis has been run, you import new data into the analysis or make material changes within the _Engagement settings_, the analysis will prompt you to **re-run the analysis** to apply the new data or updated settings. For example, [updating the weight of a control point](https://support.mindbridge.ai/hc/en-us/articles/1500001381622) will impact the risk scoring of your analysis results, and therefore the analysis should be re-run for accuracy.

1. On the _Data_ page, find the analysis you want to re-run.
2. Select **Re-run analysis**, located at the bottom of the analysis section.

3. Select **View Analysis** to go to the results dashboards.

If an analysis is _not_ re-run, you may not have access to the most accurate, up-to-date results.

## Apply new risk ranges

You can update some [analysis settings](https://support.mindbridge.ai/hc/en-us/articles/13638835009559) after the analysis has been run.

[Changing which risk range is applied to a risk score](https://support.mindbridge.ai/hc/en-us/articles/13645850971671) will impact how the analysis results are presented, but will not impact your underlying data or the engagement or library settings.

Once you select a new risk range, you will not need to re-run the analysis, but you will be prompted to **Apply new risk ranges** on the _Data_ page.

**Note:** Once a risk range has been updated, you will not be able to view the analysis results until the changes have been applied via the _Data_ page.

1. On the _Data_ page, find the analysis you want to apply changes to.
2. Select **Apply new risk ranges**, located at the bottom of the analysis section. MindBridge will recalculate the analysis results.

**Note:** The application of new risk ranges is not recorded in the analysis' _Run history_.

3. Once the new ranges have been applied, select **View Analysis** to go to the results dashboards.
