## Summary

Your library contains a unique configuration of permissions and settings. When you [create an engagement](https://support.mindbridge.ai/hc/en-us/articles/360055739694), MindBridge applies the library configuration _as it exists at that point in time_ to the new engagement. While only one library can be applied to an engagement, a library can be applied to any number of engagements.

Learn what to expect when you make changes to a library so you can customize the MindBridge platform to align with your firm's methodologies.

* **Note:** Changes made to the library _after_ an engagement has been created will not be reflected within the engagement — a new engagement must be created to capture the updated configuration.
* **Note:** Changes made to the original base library will not be reflected in the library you are currently viewing.

## Go to the _Library details_

**Note:** Only _App Admins_ can view and manage library details. [Learn about user roles](https://support.mindbridge.ai/hc/en-us/articles/360056394954)

1. Select **Admin** ( ) near the bottom of the MindBridge sidebar on the left side of the screen. You will go to the _User Management_ tab in the _Admin settings_.
2. Go to the **Libraries** tab. You will see a list of libraries available in your tenant.
3. Open the **Actions** menu to the right of the library you want to see.
4. Select **View library**. You will go to the _Library details_ tab on the _Libraries_ page.

## What to expect when updating library settings

The _Library details_ tab displays important information about the given library.

While some fields in the _Library details_ tab are read-only and cannot be updated, others can be changed even after the library has been applied to an engagement.

If you make changes, be sure to **Save** your work. Your changes will be reflected in related engagements immediately.

For example, adding the _Accounts Payable_ analysis type allows for the creation of AP analyses.
When you **remove** an analysis type, its corresponding settings disappear. Existing engagements will not be affected, but new engagements using the library cannot create that type of analysis.
**Note:** TRA analyses do not have associated tabs because their settings are imported via configuration file. | Once the library has been applied to an engagement, you cannot add or remove analysis types.
**Note:** TRA analyses do not have associated tabs because their settings are imported via configuration file. |
