## Summary

Learn about the process of transforming for import into MindBridge a general ledger file exported from KashFlow.

## Notes/Prerequisites

This guide assumes that you have exported a CSV file from KashFlow in the following format, as detailed in the [KashFlow: Export the general ledger](https://support.mindbridge.ai/hc/en-us/articles/360058018373) guide.

## Transform the data

### The problem

The exported file contains dates that are not in the North American format as well as blank rows, which might cause issues during ingestion into MindBridge.

### The solution

1. Highlight the **top 4 rows** and **delete** them.
2. Filter out **blank rows** and **delete** them.
3. Change the **Date field** to the **North American** format.
